Thank you for stopping by and taking interest in learning about a small business! We are based out of Jackson, TN and proudly ship our products not only to our artist friends, but all over the world.

With over 75 available colors, each batch of watercolor paints is carefully hand-mulled until smooth and cured to perfection. A few times a year, we team up with a wonderful artist to curate a new special collection. Additionally, we release 36 exclusive colors to our Patreon members each year.

KL Colors takes pride in being eco-friendly, taking active steps to reduce our use of plastic to zero by January 2024. In a world of fast-fashion and ultra-consumption, we hope you take pride in purchasing our products knowing it is sustainable, ethically sourced, and made in the USA.

Lastly, we donate 10% of our profit to local non-profits that financially aid children and families in group homes and foster care. Thank you for supporting us, so we can support our community.

Kim LeBeau founded KL Colors in 2020. A self-taught watercolor and lettering artist who enjoys time with family and friends, classic books, kayaking and hiking, and getting to know God more by studying the Bible.

Her passion for creating resources that inspire is reflected throughout the business. Although she has worked hard to supply high-quality paint, her true hope was that you feel both excited and loved when you receive something from our site. Kim is has passed the paint-making baton to her daughter, Gabrielle, but if you'd like to follow along her art journey, she is active on Instagram! @loveletteredstudio

Owner Operator

Gabby LeBeau began running KL Colors in the summer of 2023. She works full time estimating for Burris Insulation, and dedicates the rest of the day to KL Colors.

In the remainder of her free time, she enjoys birding, volunteering at Pinson Mounds State Park, and trying to beat people better than her in the Jackson Chess Club.

She strongly believes that artisanal paint can and should be produced at professional quality, and strives for no less. To help achieve this goal, she exclusively listens to Beyoncé while working.

She currently lives in Jackson, TN with her boyfriend Gabriel, Cute-Guy Philip, and Meow-Meow.
